Opening
We kick things off the way we always do, swapping stories from the weekend. Eddie hit the Morgan Wallen show (jeans tucked into the boots, bold choice), we talked about the post-concert bar scene, and touched on Canelo vs. Crawford.
Around the CFL
We set our playoff pictures. I’ve got Saskatchewan, Calgary, and BC in the West. Hamilton, Montreal, and yes, Edmonton in the East. You read that right, I have the Elks crossing over. Toronto was a backbreaker, but there is too much intensity, drive, and talent here not to make a push.
Steele’s Reels
Eddie breaks down clips from around the CFL. This week: Exume getting absolutely lit up by Tyson Philpot in Riders vs. Als, and the tough sequence on David Beard after Cody’s fumble that turned into a TD. Best segment of the show.
Rick’s Rants and Pat’s Problems
Pat asked the eternal question: When do you cash out a bet? He had a parlay that could turn 20 bucks into 300, cash out at 200. I told him 67 percent is a green light, then sprinkle a little on the Chargers. It depends on the parlay type, of course. Rick’s rant was more unhinged, featuring his hatred of shopping cart etiquette. Still unclear what he wants people to do, but it was hilarious.
Looking ahead to Hamilton
We made our picks for Saturday. No spoilers, go listen. Eddie and Rick want to see Tre Ford get some drives. I am not so sure.
